agree or not: People holding different views cannot achieve success as a team.
There is no doubt that people are individuals who are different from each other. The character of man is influenced and related to his experience, background, knowledge and so forth. There are a variety of people in this world holding diverse views and understandings of every thing and aspect. Thus, some one advocate that people with different views would not succeed if working as a team. However, it is justifiable, to my point of view, that they could reach their goal even as a team.
Defining a team is that people get together to cooperate well as a whole. A team is not a group offering opportunities for people to express their different attitudes and views; members of a team are supposed to concentrate mainly on if they can work efficiently and properly with others. As the team's goal is prior to individual's thought, it is of importance for people of a team to learn how to finish the work with other teammates, but not to emphasize personal views or characters. In short, people who understand how to function as a member of a team, even hold different thoughts, can still attain a team success.
Furthermore, different views from a team could encourage and inspire people to improve their work and even get a better outcome. Apparently, diversity of thoughts and views seem to be distractions or disturbs to team work. But diversity could also turn into positive and beneficial affects. Differences of thinking enable people to adjust their plans to work better than the former ones, which may not only enhance the quality of the work but also make members' views get closer with each other.
On the other hand, there is no guarantee that people with similar thoughts could succeed under any circumstance. People could split up without a good cognition of team spirit, in spite of they have a unity of their views. People of a team may just work by themselves and communicate little. What's more, they are likely to miss a lot of chances of improving their work and neglect some factors or failings which could influence their success in the end.
All in all, the fact that different people holding different views is true and unavoidable. People just need to cope with this fact and work well with each other, then nothing is impossible.
