Hi guys,

I just want to ask something. Did you get any kind of message from someone named ****22? I feel so weird when she asked me to reply via email rather than private message box. Do you have any idea about this? Is this message a spam?

You should be grateful because actually you have a secret admirer...lol. Without showing your own pic, you can attract anyone else. It means you have a power...great!

Yes, I also got a similar kind of message before with different name but its style of writing seems to be similar. Pipiii, why do you need my email? You give yours first, then I give mine. :D

Salmonella - the "bot" has got your email from somewhere...... Normally a website - internet fairies roam the net looking for address's to send crap(spam) to.

If you have an email on a site or somewhere public its better to write "to" instead of @ and maybe "dot" instead of . that way a human will know what to do and hopefully a bot won't.

Don't reply to that person, Salmonella.
Send me (or another mod) a PM quoting the contents of that PM and the full username.

If you get an unsolicited message from a member who you haven't had any contact with before asking straight away for your e-mail address, then you can be pretty certain that they want your address for spamming.

Salmonella: I think it s better we communicate one another in very limited access like this. As you told me that our ancestor have done it, and everything had gone well. I am just worried about your inconsistency, when I have given you mine then you would break your promise.

Would I be right in thinking that this person - and her private message - has now disappeared?

Thanks for your useful advice. That is why I found many internet users intend to use '[at]' rather than '@' symbol when giving their email.

Yes, I totally agree with you. Hehe. Hey, I never broke my promise okay. You are the one that always give lots of excuses to hide your identity :))

Just prove your words that you will never have intention to hide your identity, please send me your email address. I will do the same thing after you did. Deal?
