| Anger can actually damage our health. There’s a new theory that a positive attitude can help you sustain good health and maybe even make you feel a whole lot better. Can it chase away illness? It sure can. (www.psitek.net) |

Hi everyone, Thank you for great suggest. I would like to share of my opinion. Anger is one of negative sense of soul, when anger is coming to your soul, trying to say a prayer, .....think about something a good in your life...of course smile :) ....& eating ice-cream. Love yourself & take care your soul from bad sense...
Sincerely Rada :) |

| Katty & Rada: So true.., anger is totally bad for our health. Prayers is one of the best solution to minimize it. Communicate with our Lord regularly could relieve our pain in heart. There is a nice suggestion, to live life happily all the time, that way could make us stay fresh outside and healthy inside. It can even delay the aging process. |

There was a boy who was always losing his temper. His father gave him a bag full of nails and said to him, “My son, I want you to hammer a nail into our garden fence every time you need to direct your anger against something and you lose your temper. ” So the son started to follow his father ’s advice. On the first day he hammered in 37 nails, but getting the nails into the fence was not easy, so he started trying to control himself when he got angry. As the days went by, he was hammering in less nails, and within weeks he was able to control himself and was able to refrain from getting angry and from hammering nails. He came to his father and told him what he had achieved. His father was happy with his efforts and said to him: “ But now, my son, you have to take out a nail for every day that you do not get angry. ” The son started to take out the nails for each day that he did not get angry, until there were no nails left in the fence. He came to his father and told him what he had achieved. His father took him to the fence and said, ► “My son, you have done well, but look at these holes in the fence. This fence will never be the same again. ” Then he added: ► “ When you say things in a state of anger, they leave marks like these holes on the hearts of others. You can stab a person and withdraw the knife but it doesn ’t matter how many times you say ‘I’m sorry,’ because the wound will remain.◄(The Fence and the Nail) |

I have read this one long time back! I tried doing that but I didn't had any nails or a wooden board or fence. So I stuck to marking red lines in a small pocket book. My anger slowed down for a while, then went up and down. Keeps going that way. I wonder what to do? :P! Btw nice sharing pipii!:) _________________ Just a confused kid... trying to live through twists & turns of life!

| Katty sweety, I guess the article of The fence and the nail, it is just an analogy. Do not ever think people suggested you to do the same thing. The article has an implicit meaning. You can do another thing with a wish you could release and relieve your anger, as like screaming aloud on the beach. BTW you have a great idea as well, to drink water, take a deep breath etc...I think it can be an alternate way to manage anger. |
