Is it correct sentences? #1 (permalink) Fri Jun 24, 2011 2:29 am   Is it correct sentences?

Dear friends!
Could you help to improve my text?

The museum was open in 1970. And the title “TALTSY” it received from the small river Taltsinka which flows near this place. This word in Russian (Taltsinka) sounds like “thawed” in English. The river don't freeze even in the winter because it has warm undercurrents in its upstream.
Is it normal??
thanks for advance.

Dear Ooshoha
Yes, it will be better and it flows and it doesn't freeze, of course.
Thanks!

I can probably...
I can't possibly...
'Probable' doesn't work in the negative as it indicates likelihood of something happening.

This test sentence is equivalent to 'It is not possible for me to give up tea'.
