I know it is common to say "Could you kindly tell me what time is it?

But is it also possible to say "Could you kindly tell me what time it is?"

If so, what is the difference between the two sentences?

On the contrary, this is the commoner and correct version: "Could you kindly tell me what time it is?"

The other is indeed heard but is casual.
