Hi everyone

Is there any difference is in the following sentences:

- He insisted that I came to his party. (Past Subjunctive)
- He insisted that I come to his party. (Present Subjuntive)

If there is a difference could you give me a similar sentence or so I would like to know its meaning. I think I know, but I want to be sure.

Thanks
Alexandro

The difference is in the tense - and therefore the event/time.

Thanks Beeesneees.

You will not hear from for quite a while. I need a break. Most of the time I'm online and I only get outside when my granny asks me to go the supermarket. It's important for me to socialise and to start thinking positively. Yet, I'm going to post two more threads. After that I will return in September. Have a nice vacation yourself and enjoy it.

I do not understand grammar in this sentence.

Thanks
