ABC Company won the prestigious "Best Shoe Repair" designation #1 (permalink) Sun Jul 03, 2011 4:24 am   ABC Company won the prestigious "Best Shoe Repair" designation

(Company Name) a won the prestigious "Best Shoe Repair in Orlando, Florida" designation in 2008 from Local.com.

I just don't understand its grammar.
The sentence's order is kind of confusing to me.

Does it make sense if I write like this?
The (company name) won having the prestigious designation in 2008 from Local.com which is "Best shoe repair in Orlando, FL."

ABC Company won the prestigious "Best Shoe Repair" designation #2 (permalink) Sun Jul 03, 2011 8:25 am   ABC Company won the prestigious "Best Shoe Repair" designation

There seems to be a mistaken 'a' in your sentence. It should read:

ABC Company won the prestigious "Best Shoe Repair in Orlando, Florida" designation in 2008 from Local.com.

It means that ABC won a title (= designation) called 'Best...Florida' in 2008, and the title was awarded by Local.com.
