Good morning.

Can a tutor explaine to me the meaning of this sentence:
"He asked me point-blank."?

"Point-blank" here means "straightforwadly, directly, without hesitation"

You might also be interested to know that "point-blank" is widely used in ballistics:
The hitman shot the target point-blank.
Meaning that he fired holding the barrel of the gun closely to the target.
