Definition of happiness

“Happiness” seems easy to understand for every one, but to define exactly, no one can do.

Sometime, happiness is the simplest things surrounding us. Happiness is that you can eat, walk, sleep liked everyone else, or you can see, hear, taste, touch and smell normally. Look down and see the disabled are mistreated on the bus; orphans are avoided at the school by the other pupils. We should know that we are still happy because we have parents, friends, and we are normal. It doesn’t mean that people in the bottom of the society don’t have happiness. They may not have money, but relatives, and love. They may not see the light, but the light in their heart is so bright. Happiness is not so hard to find out. Listen and share, we may understand more.

However, people do not usually look down. Looking forward to figure the definition of “Happiness” in achievements, in wealth make people alive and grow up. Why do we have to study? We study to get knowledge, earn money to satisfy ourselves with achievement in high position and to be rich. Why do we have to be rich? .Because we cannot live without money and food. If we cannot survive, how could we understand the happiness? According to The Pursuit of Happiness Research in 11 April, 2007, on average richer nations tend to be happier than poorer nations. The wealth can be a good mean to happiness.

“Happiness” can be a liberty, independence. In history, we do a lot of revolutions to against Colonies, American, Japanese and Chinese to unite our country and declare the independence and liberty. Ho Chi Minh said that Liberty and Independence are nothing if people don’t have happiness but that the good way to make people happy. That is why we always see three words in order: Independence – Liberty – Happiness. Happiness is the last thing people have when they have the others two.

In conclusion, happiness may be very simple, and sometimes it is difficult to reach. However, people still pursuit the happiness in their life by their own ways.
