Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Parents are the best teachers. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Parents are the main people who greatly influence the upbringing of kids and later in shaping a child's character and it's entirely true that parents are the best teachers. It has been said that parents act as our first teachers in life and are the most important teachers for children.
During our childhood, they have supervised us in so many ways. They were there to support and help us whenever we need them, especially in doing the things that we can hardly do. When we were kids they were the ones who helped us how to walk and taught us how how to speak. It is from them that we get the most care and attention, learned how to behave properly, gained life experience and looked after us while we were growing up.
The parents become our advisors during adulthood. Parents taught us to be obedient and to respect others. They taught us many things we do not learn outside our home. Our parents advised us on what we need and need not do. They molded us as better individuals and became the living examples in our life as we get older. Education cannot be developed well without their direction even with the help of our teachers in school.
Furthermore, parents not only spend time telling us everything they know about life and society but also act as our wise mentor when we meet problems. They share with us their knowledge and expertise with utmost care and affection which cannot be gained in schools. Our parents always there to help and guide us whom nobody can do better except them.
In conclusion, parents play a major role in children's education, and taking into account the dedication, impact on social behavior and life experience they give and set on us. I can fully affirm parents are truly the best teachers.
