In the present day , teachers play important role in development of a student.They help students learn subjects, guide them and support them in different ways.student who listens to their elders including teachers acheive greate success in life.However, I disagree with the idea that a student should like a teacher inorder to learn because liking the subject alone in sufficient for the him to learn the subject.
Self-interest alone can motivate any person to learn a subject despite of having the worst studying atmosphere.Anyone who loves learning wont bother about the person who teaches the subject but would rather concentrate on what is being taught to him.For instance,I had a very strict english teacher in my 10th class and i used to hate her.Though i hated english class,i loved the subject.This interest alone has motivated me to work hard , learn the subject and, score got marks in my Boards.Also, there was a situation where i used to love my social sir for all the games he made us play but, i loathed the subject.However, despite of my liking for the sir, I never felt like learning the subject.There could be various reasons for a student to like a teacher such as teacher is jovial to them, he is liberal to them, he gives them chocolates, he makes them play games and have fun, he corrects the papers liberally and gives high scores to all the students in the class.None of the reasons mentioned above will help a student develope interest for the subject or learn the subject.
In conclusion, mere love for the subject alone motivates a student to learn the subject however hard it may be.People with strong will power to learn will learn despite of all the hurdles they face on their path to reach the goal.
