Hello Mujibur,

I wrote to Ozzy about the Hungarian situation. This evening was a great protestation organised only the civil sphere. There were about 100 000 people.

When I came home the TV said that The Times wrote an editorial. I have to type it because the iPad isn't suitable to copy it.

"The Times -United Kingdom/ Monday, January 2,2012

HUNGARY'S NEW CONSTITUTION VIOLATES EU VALUES

Hungary NEW CINSTITUTION which has met with hefty international crticism, came into effect at the start of the year. With a constitution that threatens the independence of the judiciary Budapest should not receive another cent of EU funding, the liberal- conservative daily the Times writes: "the interference in the justice system, including the dismissal of the former chief judge, a governement right to choose which court should hear a case and a new state body to supervise the judical system, return Hungary to the monopoly of power by the ruling party under which it suffered for more than 40 years. All this is incompatible with EU membership. Hungary is currently demanding 20 billion euros in emergency EU help for its struggling economy. Not a cent should be paid while this disgraceful constitution remains in force."

(End.)

Me: If they not give a cent to Hungary the state bankruptcy will take place. In The Guardian was an article about our PM who drove his trabant ( its an old very cheap DDR car was) and he drives his car face to face with the EU's juggernaut. The question who turns the wheel. The Hungarian journalists hope that in the last minute he will step on the brake. The crowd of different countries'diplomats wrote to him warning letters. Will be there change nobody knows. I heard today that our PM is Europe's Chavez ,but he hasn't got oil.

OZZY I WROTE THIS LETTER TO YOU ALSO.

TAKE CARE:
Kati

Hello Kati,

Sorry for responding so late.

I wish you all the best in this year 2012 to start with.

Mexico had a big crisis in 1994/1995 and temporararily had a different currency.

I will respond later on, I have to go now.

Take care,

Ozzy ; - )

Hello Ozzy,

Many thanks for your letter. The chance heped me.I began to hope. It is very important because we can't live under pressure. Before yesterday a Hungarian agricultural expert who is member of IPU was in Mexico and spoke about the Mexican situation and about there is way out from the crisis.
I don't want to belong to the people who fears and very pessimistic i read a very long article how we can be over this crisis. If there will be good politicians and experts we can be over this crisis.
As I read our crisis is more serious than yours was. It is political and economical crisis. The governement who is promised everything to the people and it had been elected by a two-third majority. They used this majority that they put an end To the independent organisations, than the jurisdiction, freedom of the press etc. it would be difficult to tell the proceedings what they have taken against the people who doesn't belong to their party. Every independent institution received a party member who carries out the order of the government.
I can't say that the EU and the US leaves it without word. Practically every day there is an article in the most important foreign newspapers.
The Fitch, the Standard and Poor's and the Moody's downgraded Hungary to 'Junk'.
Of course this means the devaluation of our money and a continuel inflation.

In spite of this I want to believe that there is way out. The article about Mexico finishes in this way:There is way out from crisis,if you are not out of the woods yet.
"The financial crisis is not over, although things seem to have been settling down. The debt problem must be handled, before substantive steps can be taken to bolster the international financial system. Even the slightest downturn in commodity prices or upticks in interest rates have recently touched off financial turmoil. We are not out of the woods yet."
