It has recently been announced that a new restaurant may be build in your neighborhood. Do you support or oppose this plan? Why? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.
Why they are always thinking to build restaurants and fast-food stands in our neighborhood. There are already plenty. I'm not agreeing with this decision, but they never ask the inhabitants before starting to build.
I enjoy going out with my friends or family to a restaurant, but I think that should be specific areas in town where they could build restaurants. A small neighborhood is not the ideal place to locate it, because a restaurant will bring a lot of noise. It is a common knowledge that a restaurant starts working very early in the morning and finished late in the night, therefore, the noise they will make, it will be unpleasant for the neighborhood residents.
Second of all, my reason for the disapproval of this plan is the behavior of some costumers. Sometimes, many people going to a restaurant have the habit to drink a lot, and when they get drunk, they might use an inappropriate language. This behavior is annoying for the others, and could be unpleasant for our children, for the elderly and for all of us. We don't want that our children adopt such a bad behavior.
Another reason I'm against is that this new restaurant will need a large parking for the costumers, thus they will take more space from the children's playground.
Besides that, I think that nearby the restaurant it will be a lot of garbage, because a restaurant is a source of garbage…left-over's, packaging and so on. This aspect will make the place we live unpleasant and unsanitary. Dumped food produce unpleasant smell and can create favorable condition for harmful bacteria to thrive. After all, do you want to live next to a pile of rubbish?
All in all, a restaurant in the neighborhood brings a lot of troubles, although he could bring also some benefits.
