May be visual aids refers to what you see in power-point projectors, monitors and the like....don't you think?.............>CALD:Things that you are shown like maps,pictures or films...

As 'Visual Aids' is a standard term, Mister Micawber knows that. However, he cannot say whether 'visual aids' is the same as 'visual instruments' because we aren't sure what Morvarid meant by 'visual instruments' - this is not a standard term.

Actually the term "visual instrument" is only used by Morvarid herself and certainly not by CALD.Was just trying to draw her attention to the common sense accompanying "visual aids".Thank you.
