You could say:
"Why does loving you hurt so much?" or "Loving you is really difficult." but not "Why does loving you feel so hard?" |

| Loving you feeling so hard may have a totally different connotation that you mean to give :). |

I was thinking that too. Because I am twelve. (Not actually, I'm twenty-two.) |

| You can also say, "Why is it so hard to love you?" |

Can I have a go, too?
Why is loving you such a sweet agony? |

But maybe it's not sweet agony. Maybe it's just agony!
There was that John Mellenkamp song with the lyric, "Sometimes love don't feel like it should, but it hurts so good." |

Ouch! It does sound like an unbearably painful love story!

Wow! Not bad for a Thursday morning! I love the sound of 'it hurts so good', it's really passionate.
I didn't know that singer. Now I've listened to the song and had a look at the lyrics. He says 'You make it hurt so good', which sounds even more ardent... |

The other lyric of his that I like is, "When I fight authority, authority always wins." The story of my life! |

It's unbelievable and downright unfair how authority always manages to win, isn't it? :D :D :D
Going back to Autumn's original question, what about simply writing: "Why is loving you so hard?"
