Please explain:
Does the no. 3 bus stop here?
1.Yes, it comes in 10 minutes= it comes in every 10 minutes? or shouldn't it be:
Yes, it will come in 10 minutes.
2.
The bus stop is up the road.

Thanks..

It comes in 10 minutes - it is due 10 minutes after that time - the time the person speaks.
'It will come in ten minutes' is the more grammatically correct version and is the one that should be used in writing (remember that this test reflects informal dialogue). Well done for spotting it!

The bus stop is at a point further along the road from where they are standing.

Hi Saneta,

I'm going to nitpick here - maybe it's the hot weather we're having at the moment in SE England. 'It comes' is all right in the sentence because remember that we can use the present simple to indicate a future event when it is something that is or has been arranged and is shown for example (understood here) on a timetable.
