Hi everyone,

Yesterday, I was reading a biography of Elizabeth I. She said to one of her courtiers: 'My dear and loyal subject, I do not wish to open windows into men's souls.' What exactly do you think the underlined sentence means?

Thanks
Alexandro.

I think that's it Beeesneees, since the context doesn't make it any clearer either.
