another is one more..
Can you give me another pen?
I want to see another book...

The others means the rest of.... or the remaining...
I have 5 friends.Two of them are male.The others are female.(you must know the exact number)

others is rest of..but you dont know the exact number..
Some people like cats..others dont...

other is always adjective..so you cant use it alone..
other book,other books..

Is it possible to say: one another book or an another book?

The explanation of another and the others are clear, but the 2 other explanations are not.

You would not say 'one another' or 'an another'.

You might say 'one other'.
"You are allowed to bring your money and one other thing with you."

I can't think of a sentence where you could use 'an other'.

Come to think of it, the word another is a combination of the words "an" and "other"
An + other = Another
