Yes and No - conversatin in Filipino English

Well, I would also like to tell you that we don't have tag questions here in the Philippines that is why the questions you had we very confusing to the kid.

We usually ask directly and simply, like: "Do you have scissors?" Otherwise, if we add more words, the last words will be retained in our memory. And you, English-speakers using the tag questions, will really find the conversation going somewhere else .
