It sounds a bit awkward. Consider: Everyone was called on the Church's mission of preaching the gospel. Everyone, called on the Church's mission of preaching the gospel, was asked to do his/her best. Everyone, called on the Church's mission of preaching the gospel, was encouraged to do his/her best. |

Personally, I would use 'to' rather than 'on'. (called to take part in the mission) _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

Hi Beee,
I understood fom your reply that; it is "to" as they're invited to a place. While "on" would be for a thing that should be done. Like what i've read just now on the internat;
Obama Calls On Assad To Step Down.
Was that right.. the way I understood? |
