International restaurants in Singapore are particularly adept at simultaneously perfecting both eastern and western dishes on their menues.

Particularly means specially. We need this adverb here, because we want to describe in what way those restaurants are clever at making different dishes.

Hi Webmaster,

At the first I wrote: PARTICULARLY my result said the correct answer: PARTICULARITY so twice I used this. Unfortunately I believed in the correction of the computer so my correct answer I changed. What a pity !!!! Though I didn't understand why particularity is good but I didn't thought that the computer was mistaken. After I had written my letter I have read Conchita's answer and I realized my first answer: PARTICULARLY was correct. This happens several times with me. And I am an incorrigible optimist.

Thanks:

Hello,

1.To adapt is a forgotten verb to me.
Adapt sth = sth can be adapted to suit to my taste
Adapt sth for sth = sth can be apapted for use by a disable people
Adapt can mean 'adjust'= 'I can adapt sth
Adapt to sth = sth /sb can adapt quickly or slowly to sth
Adapt myself to sth = its meaning is the same than the previous one.
Adapt sth(for sth) ( from sth ) it is very fequently used.=
To change a book or play so that it can be made into a play,film/ movie, tv programme.
"Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliette had been several times adapted for films."

2.at simultaniously - is the preposition and the adverb together?
Or does the 'at' belong to the verb 'adapt' ?

Many thanks.
