Hello! I want to learn Japanese, Spanish and German Sun Apr 23, 2006 19:54 pm  Hello! I want to learn Japanese, Spanish and German

Hi, I found this forum searching for information about the pimsleur and Rosetta Stone programs for Japanese and decided to sign up. As you can see I have a few languages I want to learn (signature), and this looks like a good place to talk about them!

Hello! Sun Apr 23, 2006 20:38 pm  Hello!

Hello and welcome, Ibez!

Wanting to learn three languages sounds like an ambitious project! Isn't it exciting, though? Any particular reason why you chose these? Are you working on the three simultaneously or do you plan to study them one after the other? In any case, you've got some hard work, but also a great adventure ahead of you!

Good luck Smile !

Yes, It is exciting, And I'm trying to learn now while i still have time! (I'm still 15 years old). As for why I want to learn them, I want to learn Japanese because I plan to live there eventually. I love their culture and lifestyle, It would be a place I really think I would enjoy. I'm going to be saving money to hopefully visit there in the next few summers.

I'd like to learn spanish, Partially because I already have a fair amount of spanish knowledge, also because here in Colorado in America there are many immigrants from mexico, it is a very useful language to know for while I am still living here.

And lastly German, because my uncle's family comes from germany, He married my aunt there who only spoke german, and I would like to be able to talk to them in german, Not all of their family is very good at English.

So yes, I have a lot of learning to do! So far, I'm just starting on the japanese pimsleur course. I have listened to it for a few hours to get more familiarized with the sound of the language and have gone through the first 3 units in Japanese 1 so far, Only started yesterday Smile

Grassias!Hasta Luega!
