What hour is exactly "ten minutes of ten". Is it 9:50 or 10:10?

Hi Daneel,

I would use these expressions: 9.50 ten minutes to ten

10.10 ten minutes past ten

I would do the same, but I could also say "ten to ten".

I would say that or "ten after ten".
