b. Go get your things when we have lunch.

c. Go get your things while we are having lunch.
d. Go get your things while we have lunch.

Which of the above are correct?

Hi azz,

You asked which of the following were correct:

Quote:
a. Go get your things when we are having lunch.
b. Go get your things when we have lunch.

c. Go get your things while we are having lunch.
d. Go get your things while we have lunch.

I don't think it's a question of correctness but rather of meaning. Both are conjunctions of time but have a slight difference in meaning. When gives the sense of at that time and while suggests during that time.
