1. yes 2. choices again - both prepositions can be used. 3. "I'll work all day Friday on it, then over the weekend if I need to." I'll work on it on Friday - and also on Saturday and even Sunday if I have to. 4. I will be ready - future tense. 'Will have been' is incorrect, but 'will have finished' is acceptable. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

1.I'll be ready by Monday. 2.I will have been ready by Monday. 3. I will have finished my work by Monday.
I know that it is not Monday yet, but by this day work will be finished or somebody will be ready. So, the second sentence would be correct maybe this way: I will have been ready on Monday??
thanks again |

No, no matter how you try to justify it, it is grammatically incorrect and makes no sense. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

Ok Dear B., keeping close to your argument: Because it is not yet Monday, I don't still not much understand why 'Will have been' is incorrect. Could you please try to explain it more clearly or on the other side? Many thanks in advance |
