What are some of the qualities of a good parent? Use specific details and examples to explain your answer.

In modern era the issue of what are the characteristics of appropriate parents have always been of high controversy. Despite the fact that a great deal of necessary features have been proposed, I tend to hold the view that a suitable parent should support his or her children spiritually and emotionally as well as teach them the social skills of living in a community.
It is generally accepted that a well-defined parent have to support the children kingly in such a way that the children always feel and sense the existence of a supportive hand. To put it more bluntly, parents should provide their children with a real atmosphere of relaxation, peace and kindness for exchange of emotions in order to prevent further psychological weaknesses. It is scientifically proven that those children having lack of enough emotional respects in average would not only not progress regularly in their life, but also is more likely to commit delinquencies and juvenile wrong doings. To illustrate my point, the majority of criminals are single parent or have very violent parents. Hence, the representation of emotional atmosphere by parents will guarantee a promising future for their children.
Furthermore, parents are the best teachers for teaching social skills. As a matter of fact nowadays because of development in all aspects of society, it is so difficult to deal with social matters that many will fail to overcome it. By this I mean, in modern days the boundary of indispensable knowledge required for coping with people and businesses has enormously expanded. Therefore, it is very unlikely for an individual to learn all of them in person. However, a qualified parent is able to teach and inform his children about these necessities without any expectation. For instance, parents without making fun or laugh can teach their children how to greet with respected ones in a special situation.
To sum up, it is my underestanding that among various significant features for parents, the ability to exchange emotions and teach indispensable social skills are the most critical ones.
