My problem to understand here the meaning of "as the point of ultimate Freudian knowledge". Could that be: as we know from the Freud's highest teaching?

There is another sentence I am not good enough to sense at all. Can anyone help on this too?
It is last sentence of this paragraph:

"This is what Lacan had in mind when he wrote about Freud's original sin in his eleventh seminar. I think it is very important to look at the consequences, especially concerning the goal of psychoanalysis and the statute of psychoanalytic knowledge. One should keep in mind the saying about the sins of the father coming down on the shoulders of his sons. "
