A) Do these following sentences mean the same (are both acceptable) or these is any difference between them?:
1.I'm told they think it looks good
2. I have been told they think it looks good

B) I think we'll be able to have it to him by Friday=shouldn't it be:
I think we'll be able to give it to him by Friday?

A) They are very similar. The tenses have the usual result on the meaning:
I am told - now/very recent
I have been told - in the past, including the recent past.

B) Yes, i agree with you.
