why not: Send an overnight delivery? because a mas talking about snail mail.

1. Both are acceptable. The original is more prevalent in the US than the UK.

2. Again in that context and in informal conversation, it doesn't always work as well as it should.

3. co-workers work in the same place as you. Business associates include co-workers and a wider range of people too, possibly from different companies.

4. " Would it be possible to send it as an e-mail attachment?" The man wants to receive it by e-mail then send the signed copy back via standard mail.
