1. making a lunch run - going on an errand to buy people's lunches
subway sandwiches - long rolls of bread, available with various fillings.

2. club sandwich - A sandwich of meat (usually chicken and bacon), tomato, lettuce, and mayonnaise, with two layers of filling between three slices of toast or bread (the 6" size)

3. can you get me an iced tea instead?

" is the abbreviated form of inch(es).

If written next to a 1 or a fraction/decimal less than 1, then it means 'inch'. If written next to any number higher than 1, it represents 'inches'.
