how to use respond and response?

hi everyone, please help me understand the difference between respond and response.
I know that respond is a verb, while response is a noun, it's just that i get confused on how to use them in a sentence.

Please give some examples.
and please fill in the blank...

I like the way he/she______???

Hi Maria,

Your 'fill in the blanks' example is quite straightforward. Think about it. Do you need a verb or noun after 'he/she'?

Dictionaries often carry lots of good examples along with the definitions. A Learner's Dictionary is designed to offer definitions and examples in a straightforward way.
