I am still looking for a job, even though I will be graduate in next year, I am preparing for that. My ideal job will be in the world 500 foreign capital companies. I am confident in myself, I think I am qualified for the position in a foreign-invested company.
This summer I worked as a intern in a quite famous foreign capital bank in my hometown, I worked for HR department, and I really like that job, However, my manager told me that if I wanted to get a position in their company, it will be a little difficult since I am not graduate from a famous university. That’s to said, they favor to choose students from famous university and can reject me just because my education background.
Will that be important to get a job interview chance just judge you according to you degree certification? I confused…
Actually, I think if people don’t want to get a job in a world 500 companies, maybe that would be ok for his education background. However, some companies choose their potential employees by some rigid condition, such as applicants from top 10 university, students from top 211 university, people who passed college English test… I don’t want to criticize their way of screening, I just feel a little disappointed when I saw the requirement.
Anyway, whatever they use what kind of way to find their potential staff, I will do anything I can do to show myself to them and try every thing I can do to get the offer within the range of companies I apply.
This passage is just a vent for me to adjust my feeling, and if I had made any mistakes in writing skill or express, I would appreciate if you could point out for me. |
