Hello Phea,

How are you doing?

It's a pleasure to hear your message. I'm excited to see that more people are making voice recordings. I think it's an excellent way to practice English. I hope that you will participate more in this section of the forum. It would be wonderful to have more people to talk with here!

Take care!

Hello Phea,

I'm doing very well, thank you for asking.

You asked if I could tell you a little about myself. Well I'm an American. I was born and raised in a small town in the state of Oregon. I now live in the Netherlands. I've been living here for over 8 years now. I moved here to be with my husband who is Dutch.

I have many hobbies and interests some of which include reading, writing, playing with my dog, nature, hiking, biking, swimming, going for walks, spending time with friends, watching movies, listening to music, singing, traveling, taking pictures, doing genealogical research, languages, games (like board games, card games, computer games and such), sewing, crocheting, learning new things and much more.

Please feel free to ask any questions you might have. Would you please tell me more about yourself?

Take care!
Megan

Hi Phea,

I am Yuri, and I am from Russia. Do you happen to know Lake Baikal? It is in the Siberian part of Russia, and it is the deepest lake in the world.

You are a lucky girl because you have a great opportunity to communicate with a real American. Megan is a kind and supportive person, and I think you should not miss a chance to improve your English witrt her. I think that your listening to other members of the Forum will be useful for you too.

Best wishes,
Yuri
