Hello,

This is a dialogue which has a difficult phrase:
Are you still in Hawaii?
Yes, I do live in Hawaii, which is beautiful beautiful. And I'm still on the show. Right, 'cause we keep getting people from Lost and then.
And then we're, right, people do get killed off quite often.

What do they mean by saying "get killed off"? Help me, please!

Thank you.

Killed off = the character is killed and therefore the character leaves the show and the actor is out of work.
