Simply Wish

To Dear Learners,

I've found these sentence.

1. I wish Melissa would come. ( I want her to come )
2. I wish Melissa was/were here now. ( not I wish Melissa would be )
3. I wish somebody would buy me a BMW.
4. I wish I had a car. (not I wish I would have )

I hope you like it.
Love you.

Dear Mvcthinh,

Yes, when you just wish, you can use this form I wish,,,,, would.
1. correct
2. I wish I could speak English like my mother tongue. ( but this- I wish I could form sounds that you regret that you actually cannot do so. )

e.g- I'm sorry I have to go now. I wish I could stay longer with you. ( but I can't stay longer )

I hope you like it.

P.S- In fact, sentences written with I WISH are difficult to understand and write for the ESL learners . ( I just assume here to my teaching and learning experience of English, but once you've learned it well , they are just beautiful. )
with kindest regards.
