| mmm i like singers like Bridtney (i'm not sure how it spell correctly) backstreet boys, westlife, roxette, etc romantic or dancing songs. i always singing aloud, reading the lyrics (of course), i know that i have a bad pronunciation but that's the idea to improve my english by making something fun. |
Hi Witch, I like Backstreet Boys, too. I set one of their songs as a ring alert for my mobile phone. ***********************

Hi everybody here, I love music. I often listen the Rock ballard, the Scopion, yeah they have some nice ballards such as : You an I, Entrace... I don't like the young and moden music bands. I also like listening to Whitney Houston's songs. And I like the Country music I have a book named: English songs, and I have some CDs so I listen the song and try to translate them into Viet Namese. Sometime I wrote commentary about the song I like most as : The Careless Whisper, Over and Over, Knife.... So I thinks learning English by listening Music is one of the best way to improve my English. |

And as for me I love with all the passion Reamonn and mostly Phil and Rea Garvey. They`ve got simple pop songs to my mind, but still I feel myself very comfortable in my big armchair under a warm blanket with the silent sounds of the drums and sweet sound of voice singing :"I`ll show you my promised land"...These are he only words and guys who really make me feel sure in myself, make me feel covenient in this world and whom I like very very much!!! _________________ Your Jailbird |

| I Love "The Cranberries". The singer's voice is celestial. Like people use to say: "It's my favorite band ever". Their lyrics are about all kinds of love and I love that. |

I'm more a fan of individual songs as opposed to groups... but here's a list of some of my favs during different points in my life:
Third grade (1984 or so): Michael Jackson Elton John (...and I guess that's why they call it the blues...)
Fifth Grade: Mr. Mister (So take... these broken wings...) Falco (Oh, oh, oh Amadeus... come and rrrrock me Amadeus) Bon Jovi (whoa, livin' on a prayer) Van Halen (so tell me why can't this be love?) Chicago (when you see me walkin by, and the tears are in my eyes, look away... baby, look away) Survivor (Rocky IV -- Two worlds collide, rival nations...) Hall & Oates (You're out of touch... I'm out of time... or vice-versa)
Junior High (1987-90): Whitney Houston (I get so emotional, baby, every time I think of youuuuu!) Janet Jackson (We are a part of the rhythm nation, woooo!) Guns n Roses ("Lies" and "Appetite For Destruction") Young MC (You know what to do, G, bust a move) George Michael (why do i have to share my baby with a monkey, a monkey... aheeaheeahee, lala) Madonna (Life is a mystery... everyone must stand alone...) Vanilla Ice (that dude was cool back then! "Ice Ice Baby")
Freshman/Sophomore: Pearl Jam Nirvana Firehouse (Forever in my heart, I've finally found the love... of a lifetime. -- Great for prom) Snap! (It's gettin', it's gettin', it's gettin kinda hectic) Timmy T (One more try, let me put my arms around you. ROFL) Boyz II Men (motownphilly back again... doin' a little East Coast slang)
Upperclassman -- high school: 2 Unlimited (The Workaholic) Jon Secada (don't laugh... the guy had some hits! lol) Whitney Madonna PJ Snow (Informer... alikiboomboomnow)
College: Jane's Addiction (parties) Various dance tracks (parties -- come on ride the train, it's the choo-choo train) Alice in Chains (parties) Sublime (parties) Pink Floyd (parties) Snoop Dogg, Notorious B.I.G. & Dr. Dre (parties)
...I also started listening to Country in college. _________________ Billie Jean is not my lover. Hee. |
