Can you give me some advices about my essay? :D
It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books”. Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which course is more important? Why?
The knowledge is very important to human and we have many ways to gain it. Some people think, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books”. As we know about books, they are a big treasure of being human and have a lot of information we need. However, I prefer gain knowledge from experience because it is realistic. I can learn from teachers, my friends and from society importantly.
Firstly, when I go to school, it does not mean that I just read books. At school, I can listen to teachers and advisors about the information in textbook. Then, teachers and I will discuss topics in class, which make my knowledge expanded. As a result, I have opportunity to get more learning from other resource, not only books. For example, after class time, I will ask my teacher about lesson to get more exercises or information.
Secondly, every people need to make new friends, which is a good way to make our knowledge widen. I think I should exchange with my friends more and more to understand them. Another way, I can make a group to study together in school’s library or at home. This is effective activity to learn something new because each person will have different ideas. Moreover, studying from textbook or papers is just sample, my friends and I will build up knowledge in some activities. For instance, we will go out, such as museums, zoos, campaigns, to know more about the problem in books. For me, friends are the good way to learn.
Nowadays, world is opened to anyone on earth, human have opportunities to up date their knowledge. In my opinion, I also should learn from society. Because I have many ways to study, I can use the Internet to search for information or go somewhere to talk to other people. On the Internet, I can wide my relationship by joining in net society, such as Facebook, Google plus, My Space, and so on. That is beneficial way to know more situations in the world. For example, when I chat with a Japanese or American, I will know about their tradition and so on. The society is very widening so that is a large field for me to search or research.
To sum, the information not only come from books, but it also come from other relationships and from hi-tech. Books which are very helpful to relax or express sense are good for people. However, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books”, it is right.
