Why do you think some people are attracted to dangerous sports or other dangerous activities? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
While some people are afraid of taking part in some dangerous activities and sports, others are really eager to try them. To explain this phenomenon, each one has his own opinions and explanations. Personally, I think this is because the fact that they want to try something new but not banal and safe. Additionally, maybe they are congenitally fond of danger and thrill.
To begin with, some people may feel bored of daily activities such as going to company or schools, then going home, taking care of children, doing household chores, etc. Also, some are under great pressure of many problematic situations they are confronting. As a result, they tend to find some kinds of entertainment to relax and enjoy, One of which is several dangerous sports such as bungee jumping, parkour, etc. When taking them, they are able to experience the thrill and even scream out loud without inhibition. Consequently, they will feel relaxed as if these sports has lifted up the burden on their shoulders and brought to them new feelings. Thus, they are vigorous enough to continue working effectively. Therefore, taking dangerous sports can refresh our lives and make us interested and engrossed.
Moreover, there are some people are innately keen on risky and thrilling activities. In other words, they love to face the dangers and their strong feelings. Thus, they feel more interested when taking these activities than the safe ones. For example, a friend of my father used to be a proficient doctor but then quit his job to chase his lifelong dream of becoming an biology explorer, which he could not fulfill when he was a student. After his resignation, he started his journeys to multiple mountains, forests, rivers, etc. with some fellows to make experiments on some features and with the hope to find unexplored species. He told to my father that he really loved the wild life, which is not only full of dangers but also full of interests. Also, he shared that it is the former that made his journey more meaningful and memorable.
All in all, there are many reasons for people to choose to join in copious dangerous sports and activities. However, if we want to try, we should consider thoroughly the outcomes when taking part in these activities to avoid the negatively counterproductive effects that we may confront instead of enjoying the excitement and the thrill.
