Nowadays, people appeal that we need to decrease the use of the cars, BEACAUSE they are polluting our environment. In my views, the number of the cars wOULD not be decreased. on the contrary, there wOULD be more cars in the future than now.
Firstly, people are encouraged to buy and use cars. When you take a look at our city, you will find that the roads become wider and the parking lots become larger than before. The gas stations are built almost in every corner of the city. The car companies are using many strategies to attracted customers. The price of cars are keeping goING down in these years. The result of that is more people want to bUy the cars and this tRend will last for decades. (Please check your capital letters and pay more attention to "the".)
Secondly, the cars are so convenient that has become a part of people’s lives. Just like electricity and running water, people can not have a common life without carS. In the developed countries like USA, almost EVERY individual has a car. And nowadays, As people are moving out of the center of the city, people THEY need cars to move between homes and workplaces in everyday. For example, a person rideS a car to go to work in the morning, and then in the afternoon, he will go shopping by riding the car, finally, he will pick up his children in the evening. Without cars, he will spend much more time on transportation.
Thirdly, although people are trying to find a new type of transportation to substitute, we have not found an appropriate one. In these years, we have invented a new type of cars which can be powered by burning water. But IT is too expensive to afford and can not replace the position of the cars in the next 20 years.
In sum, the cars will still accompany with us in the next two decades, because they are convenient and the relatedequipments such as parking lots are easily TO be found. Besides, it will take us decades years to find an alternative way to replace the cars. |
