Dear teachers,
Please explain to me this sentence. What I don't understand is that "reading the minutes". It's weird to me.
Thanks.

Hi mlngvt

'Minutes of a meeting' is a document --- the official documentation of a meeting. It's based on notes taken during the meeting (usually by the secretary), is then written up after the meeting and summarizes what was discussed during the meeting.

Does that clear things up for you?
