Hi Jes?s
This is how I see the difference:
'every day' (two words) means 'daily' or 'all of the days'
'everyday' (one word) means 'ordinary' or 'common' or 'routine'
Your sentences: yes, your first sentence is wrong and, yes, your second sentence is correct.
If you used the word 'everynight', then I would expect it to be used similarly to 'everyday'. I would therefore understand it to be an adjective, used to describe something that is routine or common at night. In other words, nothing terribly unusual or special at night because you're describing something that's regular or routine at night. I would consider 'everynight' to be a "created" or "creative" word. (i.e., not a "real" word).
'Every night' simply tells you how many nights --> all of them.
