| He ENJOYS the victims TRAPPED "IN/INSIDE". |
1.- "enjoying". Can I use this verb in a metaphorical sense? I mean "He is glad, very happy... He laughs at them... ?cause he has trapped several victims"-- I don't think it is enough; it is the whole situation that he is enjoying, not just the victims themselves:
He enjoys having trapped the victims inside.
2.- What about the verb trap? -- Fine
2.- "in/inside" Which one would you use? Are both correct? Only inside. In cannot work without an object (in the building). . _________________ Native English teacher at Mister Micawber's |
