Hello,

As far as I know, terms of endearment means the words a person use to someone s/he loves: my darling, fairy, etc. However, in Korea, sometimes it is used like "conditions of love"- maybe, heart, money, look... etc. Is it okay? Does it really have double meanings? I'm curious.

Thank you in advance,
sweetpumpkin

In English it does officially mean 'darling', etc., but its use now is heavily influenced by the very popular and moving film of the same title. In the film, I think it refers rather to the complex, difficult and emotionally-charged facets of a relationship that are necessary to really endear people to each other, that is, to cause them to really love each other.

Aha, so it could be used as "conditions of love" according to its context. Thank you!
