He is bend to do it.
There is the best teacher of that class. (but I'm not so sure because I didn't get the meaning very well)
You must regard him for being your benefactor ( I didn't get the meaning very well too)
He is waiting for better and more promising opportunity.
When I see her, I will give her your gift.
She spend many sleepless nights.
I hope I helped! I have only one question - are this sentences from an exercise book ( for example) or you wrote them by yourself? I am just curious. :) |

No, I am not. :) All I know - I learned it by myself. But of course if I have some questions I ask the teachers in my school. I think I gave you the right answers, but if your not convinced, you can always ask someone from the forum (who is native English speaker) and he/she can tell you for sure.
best wishes, Iva :) |

I'm sorry but some of the 'corrections' suggested are incorrect.
1) He is bent on doing it.
2) There is the best teacher in that class. <-- The meaning is unclear. More than one aspect needs to be changed. It's a poor question.
3 ) You ought to have regarded him as your benefactor.
4) He is waiting for a better, more promising opportunity.
5) When I shall see her I will deliver her your gift (to her).
6) She spent many a sleepless night... <-- This is not a complete sentence.
7) He swore by Go <-- seems to be unfinished
I have added full stops to all your sentences. Without them, they are incorrect. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |
