I think that college is not a time just for learning. In my opinion, it is a time for learning about ones own self. Personal growth and development are integral components of the college years and I am convinced that a study abroad experience would offer endless possibilities toward accomplishing those ends. Since I was a young boy, I dreamed of living in a foreign country. I always knew that I wanted to go abroad and study in US college. I had a strong desire to explore the world around me and to learn and experience a foreign people, culture, traditions. I still seek to fulfill that long-awaited childhood dream. Studying abroad was very difficult thoughtful decision for me. I have reached a point in my life where I want to see beyond the walls of my own everyday lifestyle and way of thinking and experience something new. I have chosen to go to United States for a couple of different reasons. First, I would improve my English language skills. Now, in our changing and internationalizing world, it has become even more important than ever to communicate with people around the world. And The United States program would give me so many opportunities to improve my English as I would be completely merged into the American culture. Next reason is the individual development. People who studied in foreign developed countries learn the culture of the country. When they come back, they import the culture owned from abroad. And they influence their families, friends and their colleagues by good way. My time in Us would be filled with many adventures and individual developments. I’ll study never come late to my work, never throw away my trash on the street and do my work exactly and punctually even though it is sometimes hard. I think that All my individual improvements I would get from US culture Would help me in my futher life . The trip to USA would also be very fascinating as I would get greater knowledge and understanding of a foreign culture. While Unated States of America I would like to be much more than a International student. I would like to attempt to become a part of American society and participate in the everyday activities of a American student. Apart of English studing I want to complete my General Engineering course. In addition, studying away from home would benefit the my personality. The absence of family and its comfort zone would teach me the value of responsibility.
Certainly it is possible that those inclined against studying abroad may come up with many reasons for not doing it – these may include separation from loved ones, losing contact with friends or growing apart from people close to you as a result of the enforced distancing. Some may cite safety concerns, claiming that certain parts of the world are unsafe to live, study or work, for a variety of reasons. If the decision to start studying abroad has been made in order to get away from a situation back home, some may claim that the decision was made for the wrong reasons, to escape and avoid dealing with problems or resolving things back home. However, all of this can be contended, and in the greater analysis it seems there is a great deal more to be said in favour of studying abroad than against it.
