Some people like to do only what they already do well. Other people prefer to try new things and take risks. Which do you prefer?
Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice.

Being a programmer, system administrator and IT professional, I am always prefer to do what I do well, but as you might
remember a song of AC/DC group - "it's a long way to the top if you wanna rock'n'roll".
I must learn new technologies to be the best and constantly obtain knowledge and new experience.
Learning new things is a crucial factor in my profession and it is impossible to survive in IT world if you
just staying on the same place. I am forced to try new things and take risks every day.

I am trying to extend my possibilities and make my "inner map" more wide on a regular basis.
Technologies changes rapidly, some of them die, some of them reborn, and some innovative things appears periodically.
Every person connected with IT industry should monitor this process and catch the essential information from it.
Moreover, every person in IT world, should prove his or her status of highly experienced individum in specific field.
As for me, not yet ago, I have successfully passed certification which was connected with network technologies.

From the other side, trying new things and taking risks is a nuclear part of balanced personality development. Especially
in childhood. Do you remember yourself when you were a child? I am sure that it was a little bit scary and risky to
try to ride on your bike for the first time, but at the end it a was really enjoyable trip!
Anyway, there are always some people who have not enough spirit or support in order to make step forward.
In this way they lost they chances to live.

In conclusion, I want to say that learning is behavior change. Your experience is what you are. I do things that
I do well. Still, I am always learning new things and trying to extend my possibilities,
discover new and interesting fields for myself and take some risks from time to time.
