Thoroughly means completely/totally:
to clean thoroughly; our team was thoroughly beaten.

But if you bring toothbrush, you bring toothpaste as well and the answer both (a) and (c). Is it wrong?

Thanks in advance.

There is just one simple thing that you cannot clean you your teeth with toothpaste only (but you can clean your teeth with toothbrush, you mouth is just a bit stinking LOL)

and one complicated thing that you cannot say "a tootpaste", and you will say "a tube of toothpaste" instead.

Hope this helps! :)

I think toothpick should be counted as correct answer, too. You can clean your teeth thoroughly as well, and it is probably more common for people to take toothpicks to work rather than a toothbrush.
