Hello everyone,
I find both the recordings of Skype sessoin and TOEFL listening lectures are of much help for listening and speaking skills. Repeated listening to them would be very interesting and useful. Let the process be continued for a longer period!
Best regards and thanks,

Hello Everyone
It was really nice talking with all the people attending Skype session. I’ve always been very hesitant to speak English and this was my first ever long chat. Ever since I joined the forum I was continuously practicing speaking alone and trying to make myself bit confident that I should speak in English or else what will I do when I’ve to talk in Skype conversation. Even sometimes I feel like I should not participate because of poor speaking skills. But I must say that Megan and Torsten words helped me a lot and make me come to this session , specially I want to quote one of his sentence he spoke in 1st Skype session that “ you are not driving a truck that you are afraid of might hitting and hurting someone”. And thus I’ve been continuously reminded myself that at the most I can do would be some grammatical or pronunciation mistake, and I’m not hurting anyone so I don’t need to be shy.
I am really happy now that I decided to join this session. I’m very thankful to Megan, my session fellows and all other who initiated this nice work. Take care

Hello Sarah and everyone,
I’d say the very expression Sarah has put down is quite common with most of the learners here. That’s why Torsten’s view is greatly to be appreciated as he pointed out that one should take part in the Skype speaking session to further develop one’s confidence level – not necessarily to learn English.
In this perspective it’d be nice to have two Skype conference sessions every week.
Thanks and regards,

Hello Sarah,
You’re absolutely right – Skype conference session is the most ideal means to build one’s confidence up and a great opportunity to improve English language skills. Its outstanding feature is to have native speakers like Megan - may be Alan and few others; Torsten and other moderators have obviously looking at it with a focused view.
Bye for now!
