Some people say that education system is the only critical factor to development of a country. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Some people hold the opinion that education is the only important factor for a nation development. In my point of view, I do not agree with this statement because of several reasons.
First of all, no one can deny that education plays an important role in country development. A good education system can supply a lot of skillful employees for home country which is such a resource to progress one country. For example, thousands high quality students graduate in America, annually, which seem to be a key for America to got the highest position in the world over several decades period. Thus, education system is recognized as a key factor to develop a nation.
However, to put a nation on a higher position it needs a lot of factors such as the policy system. For a long time, flexible policy system has been being a key for a nation development. Vietnam is recognized as a significant example, in 1980s there were some changes in policies, it lead to a long jump not only in economic but also in society. It is no doubt that the policy system also plays as important role as education does.
Moreover, one international relation is a main point as well. Nowadays, globalization keeps all countries in the world going together in economic and technology fields, so a poor relationship will bring some disadvantages to one country to have a progression. For instant, North Korea is falling down because of a poor international interaction in recent time. Surely, the international cooperation has been being a developed key of one country.
In conclusion, education is one of the critical factors which have the significant effects on nation development. In my opinion, I believe that it is not the only key because there is a lot of others such as the flexible policy system and the good international cooperation.
