Do you agree or disagreee with the following statement? Physical exercise is more improtant for older people than for younger people.


With the development of society, no one can ignore health problem, doing physical exercise is a good way to maintain good health. Some people say physical exercise is more important for old people than the young one. The point is ridiculous. I supposed that it's more important for young people to do physical exercise than old people.

The thing I want to put forward is young people do not have much time to do thing to keep fit, so physical exercise is more important to them. As we all know, young people spend a lot of their time on study or work, they may study in the library or work in the office many hours a day, after study or work they must be tired and do not want to do physical exercise. They do not have much leisure time to do physical exercise. On the contrary, old people do have many times to do physical exercise; they do not need to work at day time, so they could do physical exercise. Beside, many old people do physical exercise just for kill time.

Moreover, it's easily for young people to get ill than old people. Its sounds strange that young people are more easy get ill than the old one because their body are stronger than ole people. But that's true. In 2004, 70 percent people who get SARS were age between 20 to 37 and people whose age between 50 to 80 is only 11.2 presents. How does this happen? That because young people do not pay attention to their health problem, they always think they have a good body, so they seldom do physical exercise; instead they put most of their time on working. So, that's why I say physical exercise is more important to young people than ole people.

What's more, although old people need to do physical exercise to keep fit, but physical exercise do not help them a lot. With their body become more and more weak, they may get some disease like heart attack, that's physical exercise can merely help them, in some case old people cannot do physical exercise anymore. However, as young people, if they insist doing physical exercise when they were young, they could easily prevent a lot of disease and they could have a healthy body when they getting old and have a longer life.

In a conclusion, with young people have less time to do physical exercise, more easy to get ill than old people and physical exercise do not help old people a lot, I firmly support that physical exercise is more important for young people than old people.
